Holdings of the Orkustofnun Library from year 2006 onwards and about half of the older material is searchable at the web-catalogue www.gegnir.is.

Gegnir is library system hosting a national catalogue and gives access to information about material in most libraries in Iceland.

In Gegnir you now find about 12.000 of around 22.000 titles in the Orkustofnun Library.
