PetroChallenge Iceland competition successfully completed

On January 13 and 14, 43 students from Framhaldsskólinn í Austur-Skaftafellssýslu (FAS) and Framhaldsskólinn í Vestmannaeyjum (FIV) competed in this year's Icelandic national PetroChallenge and learned about the petroleum exploration industry.

On January 13 and 14, 43 students from Framhaldsskólinn í Austur-Skaftafellssýslu (FAS) and Framhaldsskólinn í Vestmannaeyjum (FIV) competed in the Icelandic national PetroChallenge and learned about the petroleum exploration industry.

The team Puulsa from FAS won the competition with a clear margin. Team members Johannes Odinsson, Otto Marvin Gunnarsson, Sigfinnur Bjornsson are now on their way to London to represent their country in the international final on 30 January 2010.
